Caring without Carrying: Preventing and Resolving the Accumulation of Work-Related Stress

This course will provide birth workers (nurses, midwives, doulas, physicians) with tools and strategies to prevent and process stress related to difficult clients, negative outcomes, secondary traumatization or compassion fatigue.  This 2 hour course will illuminate the distinction between caring and carrying, in terms of enhancing participants abilities to provide skilled compassionate care without carrying forward the burden of unresolved emotions or memories.

-Certificate of Completion is offered with a $10 processing fee.

-This instructor based course is approved for 2 CE/Contact Hours

-Thrive Center for Birth is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider # 16636
